Meet Camille

Camille Jasensky is an American performer, teacher, and stage manager living in Aarhus, Denmark. Before moving to Denmark, Camille was the Production Manager at Pacific Opera Project in Los Angeles, CA and an adjunct voice professor at American Musical and Dramatic Academy AMDA in Hollywood, CA.

This Fall, Camille will be moving from Denmark to Princeton, New Jersey with her two cats and soon-to-be-husband Josh.

Before living in Los Angeles, Camille was a Young Artist with DACAMERA Chamber Music and Jazz in Houston, TX for their 18/19 and 19/20 seasons. She performed in chamber concerts, new music premiers, and K-12 outreach programs with DACAMERA. Camille has performed as a soloist with Opera Colorado, Yakima Symphony in Washington, the University of Denver’s Lamont School of Music, Ignite Theater in Denver, CO, Houston Masterworks Chorus, the Evans Choir in Denver, Fresno Grand Opera, and Townsend Opera.

Behind the scenes, Camille can be found stage managing and producing opera and theater. While living in LA, Camille produced and stage managed several productions with Pacific Opera Project, stage managed Shaadi with the Dance Company Blue 13, and worked as a stage manager for the Aratani Theater in Downtown Los Angeles. In 2019, Camille stage-managed an Indian Cultural and Political Event, Howdy Modi, at Houston’s NRG Stadium for the President of the United States, The Prime Minister of India, members of the Senate and Congress, and 50,000 audience members. Camille has also stage managed for DACAMERA Chamber Music and Jazz’s A Woman’s Life: The Diary of Virginia Woolf in Houston’s Hobby Center.

Camille has operated a private teaching studio for over 12 years in every city and country she has lived in. She has taught over 200 students of all ages. Camille has also held adjunct faculty positions at American Musical and Dramatic Academy AMDA in Hollywood, CA, and The University of St. Thomas in Houston, TX.

Camille holds a Master’s in Music in Vocal Performance from Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music and also a Bachelor’s of Music from The Lamont School of Music at the University of Denver.
